Born and raised in Bangladesh, I migrated to Australia with a vision of contributing to a diverse, inclusive, and prosperous community. My journey from Bangladesh to Canberra has been one of dedication, learning, and service.
Over the years, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with building a multicultural society. These experiences have shaped my commitment to representing every voice in Australia, regardless of background.
I am proud to be supported by my accomplished family, including my spouse B N Bilkis (Ivy Rahman), who serves as Secretary of The Australian Multicultural Party and brings extensive experience in community leadership.
